U.S.S. Argonaut Crew at Time of Loss

U.S.S. Argonaut was lost with all hands on 10 January 1943, during her third war patrol. She was sunk by gunfire from Japanese destroyers after attacking a Japanese convoy southwest of New Britain, at 5°-40' S., 152°-02' E.
